🌙 SEXUALITY & PREFERENCES: Bi-Sexual Female Leaning Su Minshan has mostly had relations with women. Especially since societally same-sex realtionships are generally looked down upon in his canon. BUT that doesn't mean that he isn't willing to try things with men, in fact it's impossible to deny that his character seems to boarder a middle ground with how he acts around certain other men in the series. But it will definitely take more to get on his good side if you're a man. So I play him as questioningly bisexual female-leaning. He has a lot of repression and internalized homophobia because of the culture in which he was raised in though. Age-wise he has a preference to older people being in his mid-30's himself. But seeing as his society doesn't have any strictly developed rules regarding age he probably doesn't have a strict cut-off age. 🌙 PHYSICAL AFFECTION: Minshan suffers from a deep rooted inferiority complex due to years of emotional bullying and comparison to others. Because of that, although he likes to boast and act as if he is the best, he really doesn't have a positive self-image of himself. He is also very🌙 HUGGING: He will get startled, and he will probably yell, but he will not fight it if you do it. 🌙 KISSING: 10/10 the easiest way to get this grown man to turn into a tomato 🌙 FLIRTING: If he doesn't know you well he will probably grow suspicious. If just because his immediate assumption would be that you're planning to set him up or use him rather than think that you actually find him attractive. If he knows you a little more he will be wary and will probably blush, but he will quietly allow it. Emotionally he will be a closed off wall though. Surely no one would actually find him attractive, right? It must be some form of pity. 🌙 RELATIONSHIPS: Minshan is DTF if it's simply a means to an end. He is willing to sleep with people if it means it will help fulfill some sort of goal and has no emotional attachment involved. The moment it requires him to emotionally open up though he shuts down. Minshan has a lifetimes worth of self-hate and poor self-esteem to sift through and he genuinely does not feel as if he deserves to be loved. Most of his life experiences have solidified that thought for him as well and even simple nicities by most people feel too real to be true to him. 🌙 PHYSICAL VIOLENCE: Minshan spent most of his life training to be a cultivator, a martial artist focusing in daoist mysticism. He survived fighting in a war when he was in his late teens to early twenties and has seen plenty of death and destruction during his life. He is also not immune to his worlds impact and also carries his fair share of blood on his hands. Violence is fine. 🌙 DEATH: Su Minshan has died canonically and I have already killed him off once in an absolutely stupid wayin game already. And I would not be afraid to to it again. 🌙 OFF LIMITS: Don't compare him The Younger Twin Jade Lan Wangji or he will snap. Bully or push him around too much and he will try to kill you.

🌖 FIRST IMPRESSIONS

🌙 VISUAL: Minshan is moderately tall. No canonical height is provided and the book, comic, animation, and live action series give very drastic and very different variations. Since this is book-verse Minshan I am going off of his "long-limbed" description and have him a few inches below 6'0". He is slender but muscular due to years of intense martial training with a prominent ribcage and broad shoulders. His hair is long fine and dark, dropping just below his waist in length. He usually keeps most of it tightly tied back in a high pony-tail save for his sideburns which he keeps loose. He has large expressive eyes that are bordered by thin eyebrows which appear bunched up and thick only in the front. He has fine features and thin lips, or, as Wei Wuxian so lovingly like to out it "attractive in an unspectacular way". Because of his high cultivation abilities his aging has slowed down quite a bit and looks like someone who would be in his early 20's despite the fact that he's actually in his mid-30's. 🌙 FASHION: Su Minshan typically finds comfort in wearing long billowing robes and hanfu. His traditional go to being his clan-leaders robes which alternate with white and light purple. A corseted belt cinching his waist in and a set of long white boots. Of course, it doesn't help that he lost those robes as of late thank you Sushi the man-eating bone dragon so now all he has is this bathingsuit set and this crop top. You're welcome. 🌙 DEMEANOR: Outward impression the character gives off in expressions and body language and tone of voice. And how they are once characters get to know them. 🌙 SOUND: What does their voice sound like? Link clips or describe accents or stutters or mixing up words. 🌙 SCENT: What do they smell like? Do they use perfume? Scented bath products? Do they spend all day working in an environment that seeps into their clothes? 🌙 MENTAL ABILITIES/DEFENSES: Telepathy, mindreading, and the whole shebang. 🌙 MAGICAL ABILITIES/DEFENSES: Elemental strengths and weaknesses, or if they have an ability to shut down magic users. 🌙 PHYSICAL ABILITIES/DEFENSES: Combat skill or lackthereof, flexibility, other details of note.
